Will is an award-winning vocal arranger, specialising in contemporary and jazz a cappella. He arranges for collegiate and professional groups both in the UK and the USA.
He was a musical director and arranger for Northern Lights between 2020 and 2023, arranging 12-part arrangements for sell-out Edinburgh Fringe shows alongside a number of digital releases.
Will has won the award for ‘Outstanding Arrangement’ at the ICCA four times, most recently for his arrangement of ‘Where Is Love?’ as part of Northern Lights’ 2023 competition set. This broke the record for the highest UK ICCA score in history and qualified the group for the International Final in New York for the first time. The group also won the Open A Cappella Competition 2023, where Will picked up the ‘Exceptional Arrangement’ award.
The digital release of Northern Lights’ EP ‘ICCA Set 2022’ (arranged by Will) received four CARA nominations (Contemporary A cappella Recording Award) including Best Mixed Collegiate Arrangement and Best Pop EP.
Alongside his collegiate a cappella career, Will is also a founding member and musical director of Elision, one of the UK’s most exciting new a cappella ensembles, comprised of vocalists from some of the country’s most successful collegiate groups. They currently perform at corporate events across the UK as one of Bloomsbury Event Group's acts.
Will has had his arrangements featured on BBC's The One Show, Deutsche Welle's Euromaxx, Classic FM, Capital FM and more.
